Cattle

We have mainly Registered Simmental Cattle. I was lucky and purchased a beautiful Registered Simmental bull 2 years ago. His registered name is SVJ WILD FIRES LABEL. Last year I had calves go to Columbus, Lima, Lorain County, and Tusc County. We are looking forward to see how they show in county fairs all over Ohio. Almost all my cows are halter broke and have been shown. I have a variety of colors. Take a look at the photo page to see my cows and new calves. We started calving in March and have some very promising babies. We have recently purchased our herd replacement bulls for 2012. One is a full ET brother to Dominance. The other is out of Wheatland Bull 680S. Pictures to come soon.

GOATS
I have a small herd of goats. Have Registered Nigerian Dwarf goats as well as a Toggenburg, some Nubians, a couple of Boer crosses. Nigerians are a wonderful breed. Small but great milkers. I now have two bucks and they are  Nigerian Dwarfs. So all my babies are minis. I have Mini Nubians, Mini Toggs and Mini Boers. If you are looking for color and a small to med size goat let me know. I usually kid all year long.
 
Chickens

Just started the chickens. Some of the breeds I have a Lakenvelder, Buff Orpington, Barred Rock, White Rock, Golden Comets, Black Star, White Wyandotte, Silver Laced Wyandotte, and I have a Buff Orpington Rooster as well as a Lakenvelder Rooster. I have fresh brown eggs for sale and I have chicks every couple of weeks. Also have hatching eggs for sale.

Freezer Meat

We sell freezer beef and pork in 1/2 and whole sizes. My family used to show animals at the Carroll County Fair. In 2006 we won both Grand Champion Carcass Hog and Grand Champion Carcass Beef. Placed 3rd with carcass hog in 2007 and had multiple 3rd through 6 place carcass steers over the years. Email hiddenvfarm@gmail.com for prices and availability.
